Mike Pogue is a highly respected attorney whose career spans nearly three decades of legal practice across commercial litigation, business law, real estate matters, intellectual property, and technology transactions. Throughout his professional journey, he has built a reputation for thoughtful advocacy, sound judgment, and helping clients find practical solutions to complex legal challenges.
Mike earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in the top five percent of his class. During law school, he served as an Editor of the Law Review, refining the analytical, research, and writing skills that continue to serve his clients today. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from UCLA.
Before relocating to Sun Valley, Idaho, Mike practiced in Palo Alto, California, at one of the world’s leading law firms serving emerging companies and technology innovators. His experience includes counseling businesses on commercial agreements, intellectual property matters, technology transactions, employee mobility issues, and trade secret protection. He has also represented clients in litigation and disputes before state and federal courts throughout multiple jurisdictions.
Over the years, Mike’s work has extended beyond traditional litigation. He has appeared before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. His legal work has also been cited in respected legal publications and professional journals focused on technology and e-commerce law.
Beyond his legal practice, Mike has remained deeply engaged in the Sun Valley and Hailey communities. He has served as a Board Member of the Sun Valley Ballet, Vice President of The Company of Fools Theatre Company, Vice-Chair of the City of Hailey Planning and Zoning Commission, and a Board Member of the City of Hailey Parks & Lands Board.
Today, Mike continues to serve clients through Gravis Law PLLC while balancing professional excellence with family, community service, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.
